We coined the phrase “CinéLit” to sum up the experience of merging literature with cinema in a new digital format. More than an “eBook”, CineLit combines the power of narrative storytelling with the visual and aural expression of cinema to create a new digital media platform. Our first project featuring this rich media experience is the forthcoming CinéLit production “Memoir of a Choctaw Indian in the Arab Revolts, 1917 and 2011,” written by Choctaw author LeAnne Howe with cinematic imagery by Ojibway filmmaker James M Fortier.
